Join us for Mission94’s presentation of “The Small Arms of Normandy”. The Normandy Landings, also known as D-Day, occurred on June 6, 1944, as a part of Operation Overlord and marked a pivotal moment in World War II, as Allied forces launched a massive invasion of Nazi-occupied France, leading to the liberation of Western Europe.
We’ll begin with an overview of the firearms our troops carried into the battle and then enter our training bays where you’ll have the thrill of shooting the firearms you just learned about, including the M1 Garand, the M1 Carbine, the M1911A1 pistol and the Browning Automatic Rifle.
