Mission94 Firearms Education Center, a state-of-the-art facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin, officially opened its doors on October 5 with a Grand Opening celebration. Over 500 attendees, including community leaders and members, local officials and Mission94 staff, gathered last Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the event. Attendees enjoyed tours, mini-classes, training, premium demo shoots, food and beverages catered by Mission BBQ, and prize drawings throughout the day.

“We are pleased to open our doors and invite the community into our facility,” said Mission94 General Manager Louis Southard. “Seeing such a diverse crowd engage with everything Mission94 has to offer during our grand opening was incredibly inspiring. The excitement and positive energy from our guests was nice for us to see, and we can’t wait to continue this journey with them!”

Staff members led several tours of the Education Center throughout the day. Jeremy Dewberry, Mission94’s training manager, hosted four mini-historical classes highlighting notable figures like Samuel Colt, Harriet Tubman, Mitchell Red Cloud Jr., and Annie Oakley. Guests explored Mission94’s spacious retail area, where they could also purchase memberships. Additionally, visitors enjoyed the outdoor patio and the training area on the lower level, where expert instructors offered hands-on training and demonstrations. As the day came to a close, five winners received prize packs from the hourly drawings, and Mission94 held a special giveaway for active military and veterans, with the winner receiving a bottle of Horse Soldiers bourbon signed by Commander Mark Nutsch.

Mission94 broke ground on May 11, 2023. Mission94 was built to foster a culture of responsible firearm ownership through training and education, which includes exploring the unique history behind citizens’ Second Amendment rights. It caters to people of all levels – from novices to experienced enthusiasts – and provides classes taught by US Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) certified instructors. Mission94 will provide a wide range of high-quality firearms education classes and training programs, including three historical classes, allowing guests to journey through time as they engage with replicas of historic firearms from various eras. Participants will experience everything from the Brown Bess musket of the American Revolution to contemporary infantry weapons like the FN SCAR rifle. The facility offers both 25 and 50-yard bays tailored to meet a variety of training needs. Mission94’s 25-yard bay is equipped with advanced technology like dynamic rotating targets, which provides an added level of challenge in training options. The high-quality ventilation system has air quality within the training bays that is cleaner than the air that guests breathe outside the facility.
