Mission94 is a premier destination for firearms training, education, and history, which means it was built with the most advanced, state-of-the-art technology. How does technology affect your shooting experience, whether you’re a novice or a trained expert? Go behind the scenes of our top-tier training bays to learn how and why visitors benefit.

Situated for Safety

Safety is of paramount importance at Mission94. Before entering a training bay, all visitors are required to wear the appropriate hearing and eye protection to protect against the noise and debris of shooting. Our bays include advanced air filtration and are staffed by certified Range Safety Officers.

Training Bay Technology

Mission94 offers a 25-yard and a 50-yard training bay. Both include hi-tech carrier systems that position your target at any distance you choose and have intuitive, easy-to-use screens. You can select pre-programmed settings or create custom settings. For example, you can choose a “Quick Shoot” setting from the screen with pre-programmed distances or set a manual distance using the arrows.

Gaining Firearm Experience in the 25-Yard Bay

The 25-yard bay is a popular option for visitors who want to develop precision and accuracy. Carriers in the 25-yard bay can run scenarios for pistols and rifles with pre-programmed options. You can also create timed drills by inputting the target distance, changing the target exposure to alternate between the front, edge, and back, and setting your chosen duration. After a drill is completed, the target will return to the home position.

The 25-yard bay also comes equipped with a camera positioned in each stall. Once your target is set at your desired distance, you can adjust the camera to show your target. On the camera monitor, select the distance where your target is positioned, use the arrows to center the target, and then use the magnifying glass to enlarge the target to up to 75% of the screen.

Go the Distance with the 50-Yard Bay

The 50-yard bay offers shooters the chance to hone their distance skills. The five lanes include the same modern amenities as the 25-yard bay and are designed for distance practice with features such as lower hangars and a 50 BMG-rated Gran Trap ammunition rating.

Safety and technology go hand in hand. Shooters are not permitted to use a pistol in the 50-yard training bay from a standing position due to the angle of impact (the projectile impacts the floor and not the backstop); they may be permitted if shooting from a seated position utilizing a provided stool. Mission94 can help shooters use rifles and shotguns in the 50-yard bay and then transition to the 25-yard bay for pistols.
