“Mission94 absolutely allayed my fears and provided such a positive experience that I am eager to get back to the range and learn how to be a responsible firearm owner. The staff was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and went above and beyond to introduce me to my own gun, show me a few basics and encourage me to keep going. – I recommend them 100%.” ~ Heather

4 Primary Rules For FIREARM Safety
1
Treat Every FIREARM as If It Is Loaded
Always handle firearms with the assumption that they are loaded. This mindset reduces the risk of accidental discharge because it encourages cautious handling at all times.
2
Never point the firearm at anything you do not intend to shoot
Keeping the muzzle pointed in a safe direction ensures that even if the firearm were to fire accidentally, it wouldn’t cause injury or damage to people or property you wish to protect.
3
Keep Your Finger Off the Trigger Until Your Sights Are on Target and You Have Made the Decision to Shoot
Resting your finger alongside the trigger guard rather than on the trigger prevents unintentional firing. Only place your finger on the trigger when you’re ready to shoot.
4
Be Sure of Your Target and What Is Beyond It
Always positively identify your target and be aware of what’s in front of it, behind it, and around it. This helps prevent accidental harm to unintended targets due to over-penetration or missed shots.
